The Microsoft Word Bill Drafting Macros and Templates may be used to format bills, insert standard language, and retrieve MCA sections. The Word templates require a connection to the Internet to retrieve Bill Sections and may be opened from the Internet or downloaded; you will save the resulting bill locally under a different name.

2027 Legislative Session Workshop
On May 11, 2026, at 9:30 am, the Legislative Services Division will hold a 2.5-hour Agency Bill Drafting Workshop in Room 172 of the State Capitol Building and Via Zoom. The workshop will be recorded for those that were unable to attend or for those that need a refresher course on agency bill drafting techniques.
